I received this email from ITV Ventures regarding refunds. This is regarding former IBO’s who are owed call credits and other funds. If you’ve ordered product from ITV and have not received it, you have two choices.

1. Keep waiting,  I think that they are working to honor all orders, but I have no details that’s just my personal belief. Or,
2. Initiate a charge-back on your credit card for the order.

Here’s the email that ITV sent about refunds:

Dear former IBO:

With all of the changes going on and a new year approaching, I (Donald Barrett) wanted to communicate with you regarding refunds as it relates to call credits, or any other pending refund from ITV Ventures.

As many of you know, even though we learned a lot and many IBOs made a lot of money, ITV Ventures ultimately failed as a business model for many reasons, and we ceased taking orders as of October 1, 2008.

Although it will be a long and difficult road, ITV Ventures is diligently working to make sure that former IBOs get the refunds that are due to them. We are committed to paying these refunds, and have also refrained from filing for bankruptcy, which we could do.

It is my understanding that the balance of refunds due will be paid approximately 180 days after the close of business (i.e. April 2009). I am aware that many former IBOs have called and emailed many times looking for answers. I can assure you this only delays our ability to respond because we have limited staff to research every inquiry.

If you have previously submitted a refund request, please be assured it is noted and further requests are not necessary. Any new refund requests, not previously submitted, can be submitted by emailing businesssupport @ itvventures.com. All requests are handled in the order in which they are received.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank so many of you for the hundreds of thoughtful emails I have received about my dad’s health, the company and myself in general. My father is gaining his strength and we are looking forward to the New Year. I assure you that I will be back on top in 2009.

Though I didn’t move forward and work the new EVS Group home business opportunity after ITV Ventures closed on Oct 1st, I was registered and so received this email today.

Apparently Donald Barrett and the new team are closing up shop again. Details follow:

Dear EVS Agent:

Since its launch in October, everyone at EVS has worked tirelessly to offer a world class home-based call center that would be an attractive option for those seeking to work from their homes. Unfortunately, with the bleak economy and ever-changing marketplace, we can no longer provide you with the call volume necessary to make EVS a viable business for everyone involved.

Effective today — Monday, December 15, 2008 — EVS has shut down operations and no longer provides services to its clients.

IMPORTANT! Please be sure to approve all invoices no later than NOON (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, December 17, 2008.

If you have any questions, please direct them to questions@evsgroup.com.

Please note: It is important to only submit one request, as emails are answered in the order they are received — submitting multiple inquiries delays response time.

Not completely surprising, but sad for those who did put their energy and effort into it. I learned a great deal about myself and what I’m capable of achieving while working this business, and so for that reason, I am thankful that I was a part of it.

So that’s that! I moved on awhile ago, be decided to keep this blog going a bit longer since people are still looking for info on ITV Ventures and Donald Barrett.

Many don’t realize the company is out of business. I’ve noticed that some of the content from this blog has been stolen and posted elsewhere online, making it appear new when it fact is months old.

If you’re looking for a viable way to make money in MLM, and have no desire to approach friends and family and do the old-school routine, I have a recommendation.

Since ITV Ventures is no more, this blog is coming down soon, but I want to take a minute to share with you the company I’m working with now.

I’ve never seen a MLM comapny pay out 92% of revenues back to the field. That is big money that caught the attention of the likes of NFLs All Time Greatest Wide Receiver, Jerry Rice. As well as Mark Brunell - Former NFL Quarterback, and Andy Parker - Former San Diego Charger.

I’ve gotten a few calls recently from people who have outstanding orders with ITV Ventures that they haven’t received. I wanted to post that my last order took over two weeks to arrive (even though I selected and paid for the Express Shipping) so unfortunatley, this appears to be the norm right now.

I personally think that outstanding orders will eventually arrive, but I know how frustrating it is not knowing for sure, so you have my sympathy if you are among those who are unable to get answers.

That said, if you called me with a problem with an order, I want you to know I got your message, but there’s really nothing I can do other than sympathize:-)

It’s next to impossible to get anyone from ITV on the phone anymore because they went from having 400 customer service reps to now having about 40…that’s a huge change, and they still have thousands of former reps who need help.

As for EVS Group, I have not moved forward with their new system. It’s more for people who want an at home job and that’s not me. I think that Donald Barrett and his new team created the new business model after hearing from so many people that they don’t necessarily care about mlm or having a home business, but they do want to work from home.

So, because I do want a home business, I have moved on. I’m happy to say that I found a powerful marketing and sponsoring system that helps people succeed in any MLM/Network Marketing business, while teaching Internet Marketing and how to make money upfront while you grow your business, at the same time.
