What to do with the Money You Make in ITV Ventures - the Story of Chuck Feeney, The Billionaire Who Wasn’t
October 11, 2007 |
Now this is an extreme example of philanthropy. But it goes to show that people with money have the freedom to do whatever they want. This man has given away billions of dollars in total secrecy up until now. All I can say is, WOW!
ThisĀ is a great story, especially if you are one of the people who was raised to think that rich people are somehow bad. That amassing large sums of money is somehow selfish or wrong. The old money is the root of all evil misquote.
Many of us have that unconscious belief which can hinder us from reaching for what we want in life. Money is neutral. It is what we do with it that matters. It has always been my personal belief that the more people who care about others, and the world who are wealthy, the better.
Money is a tool. If you have a lot of it, you have many options. If you have little, you have few options. Thinking that money is hard to come by is another hinderance to attracting more of it into your life. If you think you shouldn’t have it, and that it is hard to come by, that is a double whammy keeping you firmly planted in the life circumstances you see around you right now.
Compassionate rich person is not any oxymoron, lol! Read this story. It will amaze you! If you have read the book about Feeney, please post your comments below.
